Co-Aps (https://coaps.eu/) is an exciting app, which implements mobile technology to gather anonymous user data, open data from cities and data from third party services to provide relevant information about crowds and density to public transport operators and city authorities. This is done to inform and thus better protect citizens against the global pandemic by enabling them to avoiding crowds.
At this moment it is in a piloting phase. It will be promoted as as a travel companion in the following months.
This project is funded by EIT Urban Mobility, an initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT). EIT Urban Mobility acts to accelerate positive change on mobility to make urban spaces more liveable.
TETRAMAX is a Horizon 2020 innovation action within the European Smart Anything Everywhere (SAE) initiative in the domain of customized and low-energy computing for Cyber Physical Systems and the Internet of Things. As a Digital Innovation Hub, TETRAMAX aims to bring added value to European industry, helping to gain competitive advantage through faster digitization. The project partially builds on experiences with the TETRACOM project during 2013-2016. TETRAMAX was launched in Sep 2017 and runs until Dec 2021.
